Police Van Burnt After Allegedly Killing Two School Girls In Jigawa

Mallam Madori village in Jigawa state was thrown into pandemonium as a police van was set ablaze for allegedly killing no fewer than two schoolgirls with four others injured while chasing a commercial vehicle.

According to reports, the police engaged the commercial vehicle in a hot chase for refusing to stop at a checkpoint while the girls were returning back from school on Friday.

The schoolgirls were then run over by the police van while the whereabout of the commercial vehicle remains unknown at the time of this report.
