Nigeria In Recession Again? Buhari Is Killing Nigerian Economy To Promote Niger Republic – DO YOU AGREE?
For over 5 years now, Buhari has engaged in policies and actions that deliberately rundown businesses in Nigeria, and supporting the economy of Nigèr Republic by investing Billions in their Infrastructures, expanding and diverting trade to this neighbouring country.
Nigeria built roads, schools, oil pipelines, rail lines in Niger Republic while 62% of Nigerian roads are “death traps” and kids studying under the trees in Northern Nigeria.
Under, Buhari, the 3 refineries that were operating within 50%-65% capacity in 2015 were crashed by his government within one year in office to give room for his relatives that turned oil marketers.
His government signed contract with Nigèr Republic to build $2bn refinery and pipeline to enable the country to be Exporting crude oil to Nigeria, a major oil producing country. What an irony!
Buhari bombed the Modular Refineries operated by villagers in Niger delta that have about 28,000 barrels per day capacity.
Today, Nigeria is also buying Petrol from Nigèr Republic with only 20,000 bpd capacity (75% for export) and in retrospect moving our scarce foreign exchange to Nigèr Republic and increasing our debt profile resulting from expected over-invoicing.
Lastly, not minding that refineries in Nigeria were grounded, they reported a cumulated trading loss of N1.6trillion in the last 5 years, this is about 20% of the cost of building the refinery in Niger Republic. Sad indeed!
Today Nigeria is in another economic recession!
Buhari’s government is the definition of how to kill a country without a fight.
