Families Of Nigerian Players Involved In Accident Get Insurance Benefit (Photos)

NLO and Standard Alliance Insurance PLC , yesterday, presented Insurance Benefits Cheques to the wife of deceased player and other players of Abkama FC of Maiduguri who were involved in a road accident while going for an away match in Gombe State, last season.
The NLO Delegation was led by Nasarawa Football Association and Nationwide League One Chairman, Alh. Mohammed Alkali (SK).
Last year July, a fatal accident involving Abkama Football Club of Borno claimed the life of Umaru Musa Bature. Four players were also seriously injured in the accident.
The accident took place on their way to honour a Nationwide League division two game against Gombe Lions.
The vehicle reportedly suffered a punctured tyre at the rear thereby forcing it to somersault into the bush
