Arsenal Join Manchester United In Serious Race To Sign Bayern Munich Superstar

Premier League campaigners Arsenal are ready to join Manchester United in the race to sign Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng before the close of the ongoing transfer window.

Already, Manchester United are said to have made contact with the 29-year-old Germany international, but they will now face serious competition from Arsenal according to the report by UK Sun.

Arsenal new coach Unai Emery wants to bolster his back-line before the start of the 2018/19 Premier League season and has identified Boateng as a good option to be in his squad.

The Gunners have already brought in stalwarts Stephan Lichtsteiner and Sokratis Papastathopoulos in a bid to shore up their leaky defense.

Jerome Boateng joined Bayern in 2011 from Manchester City and he is tied down at the Allianz Arena until 2021 but is believed to be keen on leaving Germany after a seven-year spell.

According to the report, Bayern Munich chiefs are ready to allow the 29-year-old Germany international to leave the club for the sum of £50m.

I'm trying to find a template or plugin that might be able to fix this issue.
