Police Officer Who Was Shot Dead By Robbers In An Hotel Laid To Rest

A police officer who was shot dead by armed robbers in a hotel in Niger state, has been laid to rest. 

The deceased identified as SP Aduku Omale Simon, a native of Ugwolawo in Ofu local government area of Kogi State, was killed few weeks ago by armed robbers in a hotel in Mandala, in Niger State.

He was buried recently at his hometown in Kogi state.  Before his death, SP Aduku was the Officer – in-laws Charge MSS Maiduguri, Borno state.

He was said to have visited Abuja for a One Day Seminar at Force Headquarters before the sad incident.

He was shot dead during a robbery operation in a hotel in Mandala outskirt of Abuja where he was putting up and was said to have been killed after the robbers discovered he was a police officer.
