See What National Assembly Leader Did There Staff's

Information reaching the our newsdesk on Tuesday morning reveals that the National Assembly has been shut down by workers protesting over unpaid salaries.

Angry staff shutdown both chambers of the parliament.They were protesting the non-payment of salaries, allowances and non-promotion by the management of the National Assembly.

The Deputy President of the Senate, Ike Ekweremadu, and some lawmakers who attempted to gain access into the two chambers, were stopped by the angry workers.

For over five minutes, Ekweremadu, tried without success, to convince the protesting staff. He had to access his office through another route.
