Female Teacher Arrested For Having Sex With A Student Using A Computer

A teacher has been arrested after her and a pupil were alleged to have exchanged lewd messages. Breanna Hernandez, 27, faces two counts each of first-degree kidnapping, lewdness with a minor and luring a minor with a computer for a sexual act.

Hernandez taught at the Basic Academy of International Studies in Las Vagas since 2015, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported. She has not been coming into work since November, when school police began investigating the messages, the Clark County School District Police Department said.

Police said the investigation was launched after inappropriate messages between Hernandez and the student. She was booked into Hernandez was booked into the county jail yesterday and is due to appear in court.
