President Buhari Invites South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa, To A State Visit In Nigeria



President Buhari has formally invited the South African president, Cyril Ramaphosa, to Nigeria for the continuation of their discussion on how to end the Xenophobic attacks in South Africa as well as talk on how to strengthen the bilateral relationships between both countries.


President Buhari who is currently in South Africa, made this known via his Twitter handle this morning. Giving an update of his activities in the country,


President Buhari wrote


Both countries firmly believe that a strong strategic relationship between Nigeria and South Africa can become the engine for the rapid economic, political, social, and cultural development of Africa, thereby delivering the Africa we want.


To this end, and to consolidate on our joint quest to deepen this strategic relationship, I have taken the opportunity to formally invite President Ramaphosa to pay a State Visit to Nigeria.
