OMG: Rakey - Omo Mummy Audio Become First African Vibe To Hit 5,000 Download Just In One Week

Afropop star, Lawal Rakeem, aka Rakey, has become the first African upcoming artiste to hit 5,000 thousand listeners on Prettyloaded’s weekly streams/download.

Prettyloaded is an online, music streaming, downloading platform that pays royalties based on the number of artistes’ streams as a proportion of total songs streamed.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that streaming records revealed Rakey’s popularity on the platform on Tuesday.

The previous record was held by Congolese rapper and singer, Maitre Gims.

This win follows Rakey’s recent single ‘Omo Mummy’.
