GOOD NEWS: Glo Rewards Subscribers With More Value In ‘Berekete’
The fully integrated telecommunications solutions provider, Globacom, has unveiled ‘Berekete’, a new pre-paid tariff plan which offers its subscribers, outstanding benefits for both calls and data.
Globacom stated that its subscribers will enjoy the benefits whenever they recharge their lines with a minimum of N100.
Launching the new plan on Tuesday at the company’s Mike Adenuga Towers Head Office in Lagos, Globacom said ‘Berekete’ was packaged to give its subscribers delightful experiences on its network and make telephoning fun all the way.
The launch was graced by two of the operator’s new brand ambassadors, Don Jazzy and Teni the Entertainer.
The Company added that the plan which is open to new and existing prepaid customers will take care of their talking and browsing need on its network.
According to Globacom, a welcome bonus of N600 await every new customer who have successfully registered their SIM, recharged their lines and have made the first call, adding N400 out of the bonus will be used for calls to all networks while N200 be dedicated to data.
Customers on Berekete plan will also be entitled to a massive 700 percent bonus on every recharge to call all networks and to browse the Internet as well as voice bonus of N20, 000. Also they will get 5GB data bonus from a single recharge,
New customers who purchase between N50 and N10,000 worth of data plan are entitled to 100% extra data volumes. However, new customers will only enjoy this offer for the first four months of joining the network.
While new customers get Berekete by default, existing prepaid customers can subscribe by dialling *230#. They will instantly be able to enjoy the 700 percent bonus on all recharges but will not be entitled to the one-off welcome bonus as well as the bonus on data plan purchases.
DON JAZZY & TENI BECOMES NEW GLO AMBASSADORS
Globacom’s new set of brand ambassadors include Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as “Don Jazzy”, singing sensation, Teniola Apata, also known as Teni The Entertainer.
Also named as ambassadors at the event are Mrs. Simisola Kosoko who is better known by her stage name, “Simi” and Africa’s highest scorer at the last Nations Cup and Manchester United attacker, Odion Ighalo.
Similarly, the telecoms company announced an extension of its endorsement deal with the World Heavyweight Champion, Anthony Olaseni Joshua, who currently holds four boxing titles.
