TRANSFER LATEST!! Former Tottenham Star Eriksen Wants To Make Return To Premier League

Christian Eriksen has opened the door on a return to the Premier League – but is set for another Tottenham snub.

Denmark star Eriksen admits his £16.9m move to Inter Milan in January has not gone according to plan, and is already weighing up his options.

The 28-year-old has started only three times in Serie A this season and been brought off around the hour mark each time by Inter coach Antonio Conte.

Now, he faces an uncertain future. But Spurs turned down the chance to bring him back in the summer and Jose Mourinho is not keen on a reunion in January either.

Eriksen said:

“This isn’t what I dreamed of. I think all players want to play as much as possible, but the coach ultimately decides who gets to go on the pitch.

“It is a bit of a strange situation, as the fans want to see me playing more and so would I, but the coach has different ideas and as a player I have to respect that.

“After all, things aren’t going well for Inter right now, but I acknowledge there were many victories when I wasn’t playing last season too.

“For now, I am concentrating only on my football, then we’ll see when the transfer window opens if something will happen or not.”
