DO YOU AGREE? Polytechnic Is Perhaps Better Than University In Nigeria

 

I’m of the opinion that Polytechnics is better than Universities in Nigeria. With few points, I’m gonna tell you why.

Polytechnics national diploma (ND) graduates can start working with before proceeding to the Higher National Diploma (HND) level. You can’t do that in Universities, until you complete your 4 or 5 years courses.

Polytechnics seem to expose students to more practical experiences than universities. The universities focuses more on theories than practical. Unfortunately the world we are living in is about what you can do, not what you know.

Majority of University graduates I know, are brainless. They know nothing else than to speak English and theories. So for me, I’ll go with a polytechnic graduates anytime, any day.

University is the home of cultism and prostitution in Nigeria. I’m not sure we are ready for this discussion today.

Polytechnic graduates prefer to be their own boss, while university graduates always run after white collar job.

Varsity certificates are not equal. For instance, federal varsity certificate is more valuable and wanted than private varsity certificate. But in polytechnic, all are equal.

So you see, poly is better than uni with a million reasons not listed here.
